Online anxiety counseling can help you work through fatigue and overwhelm

Stress and Anxiety Don’t Have to Drive You

We live in a world that praises doing as much as possible—perfectly. Stress and anxiety are natural responses to these pressures.

For the high-achievers I work with, anxiety often fuels them to push through fatigue, prioritize others, and only feel okay when ticking tasks off their to-do lists. Yet, no matter how much they accomplish, they can’t relax.

If you’re feeling like you can’t keep up this pace, there is nothing weak about you.

You’re tenacious, resilient, and persistent, and it’s not just time management or sub-optimal routines causing your stress or anxiety.

Your gut feeling is right.

The escalating tension is a real signal. The overworking and overextending that got you where you are today won’t get you where you want to be.

How Does Anxiety Therapy Work?

The Illumine Therapy Method is designed to help you understand your anxiety and create lasting change, fast.

Identify

Identify

Before “doing anything,” we get to the root of what’s holding you back and what you really want out of life. Then, we come up with a plan to get you there … fast.

Dive In

After we identify the real problem and what we are working toward, we will begin to understand areas of mind, emotions, sensations, and patterns that are no longer benefiting you.
Change

Change

Once we understand we move toward change. Helping you build concrete skills, processing barriers keeping you stuck, and working on small actionable steps. Integrating all of this so you graduate therapy not only seeing the change but also feeling the change.

Ready to stop letting anxiety control your life?

Let’s work together to help you move past the stress and worry so you can start living the life you’ve worked so hard to build.

A Little Taste of Therapy.
How Does Anxiety Therapy Work?

Anxiety therapy brings calm and balance, like the soothing rhythm of ocean waves.

Let’s begin to take a moment and stop the feeling of drowning.

Just for a moment, I want you to pause and let yourself begin to sense your feet on the ground.  Wiggle your toes and even press your feet into the ground. You might notice a slight activation in your hamstrings and glutes.

As you begin to be with your feet, I now want you to track your breath. Try not to force or change your breath. I just want you to notice how your breath is showing up.

Moving your attention to the room you are in, I want you to begin to look around. Look side to side, up and down, and even behind you.  What do you see? Now bring your attention to your feet, breath, and room you are in. Let yourself settle and just be for a moment.

I’ll invite you to just notice what happened.  What happened when you took a moment to ground and to be present? If it was uncomfortable, that is normal. If it was grounding, that is also normal.

Anxiety therapy can help decrease racing thoughts, and help bring a more present state of mind and being. It can also unveil what is happening underneath the hustle. For some that might be sadness for others it might be utter exhaustion. If you felt any or all of these things that is normal.

Let the empowering feeling of anxiety therapy take you from being dragged to moving forward.

Arrow to the right with a cocoon

Move from this:

Constant fear of not doing enough: Feeling like no matter how much you achieve, it’s never sufficient.
Restlessness and racing thoughts: Always thinking about the next task, unable to be present or relaxed.
Difficulty delegating or trusting others: Taking on everything yourself because you believe others won’t do it “right.”
Work as a form of avoidance: Using work to numb uncomfortable emotions or avoid confronting deeper issues.
Guilt for taking breaks: Feeling guilty or unproductive when not working, even though you’re exhausted.
Feeling disconnected from your values: Losing sight of what truly matters in life because you’re constantly chasing external success.

To this:

Trusting that you are enough: Embracing the belief that your worth isn’t tied to constant productivity or external validation.
Clarity and calmness in thought: Learning to quiet your mind and be more present, so you can focus and be present when you want to be.
Confidence in delegating and letting go: Trusting others and knowing that letting go is okay and has nothing to do with you not being able “to handle it all.”
Balanced work-life integration: Understanding that breaks and rest make you more effective and help you confront emotional challenges with clarity.
Permission to rest and recharge: Feeling empowered to take intentional breaks, knowing it contributes to long-term success and well-being.
Aligning with your core values: Making decisions based on what truly matters to you—family, health, personal growth—rather than external pressures.
