Mental Health Therapist in Ogden, UT
Hi. I’m Kristi Keding
My care philosophy is to work with the individual in front of me – you – in the here and now.

Mental Health Therapy Ogden that helps you feel seen, heard, and understood
I don’t see therapy as a place to diagnose, label, or categorize you. You are not a problem to be fixed.

My view has been shaped by many things but here are just a few of the important ones:
I believe humans are amazing.
We are resilient, adaptive, and capable of profound growth. High-achievers often hold themselves to impossible standards, feeling like they should have it all together. My goal is to help you see your strength and wisdom—not by pushing yourself harder, but by reconnecting with who you are underneath the pressure to perform.
I owe a lot to nature.
The outdoors is my therapy room. Whether I’m hiking, backpacking, or backcountry skiing, the mountains remind me that resilience isn’t about pushing through—it’s about finding balance, knowing when to challenge yourself, and when to rest.
People are often surprised to learn that I’m an introvert.
Yep, I recharge in solitude. Learning to meet our own needs—without guilt or apology—is part of the journey, and I’m here to help you navigate that.
I also love to travel.
I’m endlessly curious about different cultures and ways of being. This curiosity shapes how I approach therapy: with openness, humility, and deep respect for your lived experience. Because therapy isn’t about fitting into someone else’s mold—it’s about uncovering what truly works for you.
I’m here not just as a therapist, but as a fellow traveler on this journey.

Healing Isn’t About Fixing Yourself—It’s About Reconnecting to Who You Are
Healing isn’t about a single breakthrough moment, it’s the small, quiet shifts that happen over time, both in and outside the therapy room.
For years, I thought healing meant fixing myself, but I’ve learned it’s really about reconnecting, to myself, to what actually matters, to the version of me that existed before perfectionism, expectations, and life’s hardships took over.
That connection didn’t come from overanalyzing; it came from living, stepping outside, moving my body, embracing discomfort, and trusting that each small shift mattered.
This is what I bring into therapy: a focus on real, lived change, not just insight. Because therapy isn’t the destination, it’s a tool to help you build a life that feels aligned, meaningful, and fully yours.

Therapy That Works for You—Not a Place to Stay Stuck
Working with me is a collaborative process. I’m direct but compassionate. I’ll challenge you when needed, but I’ll also make sure we’re moving at a pace that feels right for you. Therapy isn’t about endless processing—it’s about moving forward, making changes, and reconnecting with what matters most to you.
We’ll check in often to make sure therapy is working. Your feedback matters. If something isn’t helping, we’ll adjust. My goal is to make therapy a place that works for you, not a place where you feel stuck.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before you start. You just have to be willing to show up. I’ll meet you there.
