Stress and Anxiety Don’t Have to Drive You
We live in a world that praises doing as much as possible—perfectly. Stress and anxiety are natural responses to these pressures.
For the high-achievers I work with, anxiety often fuels them to push through fatigue, prioritize others, and only feel okay when ticking tasks off their to-do lists. Yet, no matter how much they accomplish, they can’t relax. If you’re searching for anxiety therapy near me, you’re not alone; there’s support tailored for you here.

How Does Anxiety Therapy Work?
Let’s begin to take a moment and stop the feeling of drowning.
Just for a moment, I want you to pause and let yourself begin to sense your feet on the ground. Wiggle your toes and even press your feet into the ground. You might notice a slight activation in your hamstrings and glutes.
As you begin to be with your feet, I now want you to track your breath. Try not to force or change your breath. I just want you to notice how your breath is showing up.
Moving your attention to the room you are in, I want you to begin to look around. Look side to side, up and down, and even behind you. What do you see? Now bring your attention to your feet, breath, and the room you are in. Let yourself settle and just be for a moment.
I’ll invite you to just notice what happened. What happened when you took a moment to ground and to be present? If it was uncomfortable, that is normal. If it was grounding, that is also normal.
The goal of this exercise was simply to help raise awareness of your thoughts and bring you into a more present state of mind and being. Anxiety therapy near me and anxiety counseling near me can help you work through whatever came up.
Let the empowering feeling of anxiety therapy take you from being dragged to moving forward.
